Intelligent Collaborative Integrated Sensing And Communication System

Principal Investigator: Ming-Chun Lee

Background

To support multiple robots as a team, a highly efficient and powerful communication and sensing system is required for timely information acquisition and transfer. Moreover, to enable intelligent robots under vision-language-action (VLA) models, perception under a single robot with a single view is insufficient and unreliable.

Research Objectives

To support the multi-robot team with sufficient sensing and communication capabilities, we are dedicated to developing a multi-view multi-modal integrated sensing and communication system with edge intelligence for providing global view and timely information to every robots within the team. Furthermore, to realize three-dimensinoal (3D) modeling of the envioronment which is more suitable for many intelligent applications, a digital-twin system with global view and timely update of the environment is developing on the basis of our system.
